Sasha's sofa

Sasha was a commission painting I did which has a final size of 12 x 12", mounted in a lovely black float frame to really set off her colouring. Here you can see the original photo I was supplied, the initial under-painting and the final result, before the picture was ready to present to its owner. I opted to change the colour of the sofa, to achieve a more distinctive contrast between Sasha and the background.
