Oil paintings are usually created on a pre-stretched canvas with the painting going around the edge of the frame. I also offer optional float-framing in either black, white, gold or silver (see below imagery*).

Pastel paintings are supplied in a cardboard mount for protection as a minimum. If framing is required, we can discuss this in more detail, for example, in order to fit in with your surrounding decor.

Once I've assessed the photo(s) you supply and we chat through your requirements, I ask for a 30% upfront non-refundable deposit payable by bank transfer. Once you're happy with the portrait, the final balance is payable on completion of the artwork, also by bank transfer.

*Float frames give a beautiful finish to oil paintings. Below is an example in black, where you can see the wrapped canvas appearing to 'float' within the black framework:
